If you’re looking for a good option, currently the best weapon in this class is easily theLoyal Thunder. You’ll need toset three Shield Mods and an Ironside Charm, but you’ll become a bit of a tank with the defence boosts gained from these. Alsoadd in a Recoil Mod and a Close-Range Modto gain faster attack speed and damage. Finally, put in Spread Ammo 3 and just let her rip through monster’s hides.

Provided you’re comfortable playing a supporting role in your team’s endeavours, taking the time to be on the sidelines is worthwhile in most cases. This is particularly true when playing theBazel Valdi Rookseareras it has the Attack Up (L) song and two level 2 Jewel Slots. It almost doesn’t matter about the negative Affinity rate as it’s quite a cumbersome weapon to use to batter a monster’s face in, though the Blast damage is rather significant. The Bazel Valdi Rooksearer also has Health Recovery (S), though this isn’t the main reason to wield this horn.
