Let’s pretend we didn’t see this coming.
Killjoy is definitelyValorant’s next Agent. If you didn’t catch thenews earlier this week, Riot accidentally leaked her abilities page before today’s planned reveal. So, err, we had a very good idea of what she can do.
Anyway, for those that missed it, Killjoy’s an engineer Agent who can deploy turrets, throw AoE grenades which root enemies, and set sneaky explosive robots on unsuspecting enemies.
Here’s a look at all of her abilities - officially this time.

We’re definitely fans of her design, but we’re unsure if turrets have a place in a tactical shooter like Valorant. Hopefully it doesn’t deal too much damage and acts more like a scouting tool, otherwise we’re certain it’s going to upset plenty of folks.
Riot currently hasn’t announced when we’ll be able to play as Killjoy, but we imagine it’ll be at the start of Act 2 which’ll likely begin within the next couple of weeks. Keep an eye on the site for all the latest!
