Here’s the best MP5 loadout in Modern Warfare 2:
Speed is the name of the game, so we’ll start with the stock, or lack thereof. We suggest using theLM Stockless Modoption to gain a huge boost to ADS, sprint to fire, and movement speed. We’d also recommend theStovl Tac Laser, which will make you more accurate while firing from the hip as you leap around corners.
The Lachmann Sub is already a powerhouse thanks to the low TTK in Modern Warfare 2, but it gets even better with theSinguard MKV. This boosts your damage range and bullet velocity, making the MP5 much better at short-medium range. This does decrease your aiming stability, but we can boost that back up with theFSS Sharkfin 90.
Since the default iron sights are worth using, we’d use the final slot to equip the40 Round Mag. This will give you plenty of ammo to rinse enemy squads and help you avoid reloading at crucial moments.

Like most of our loadouts, theOverkillperk is essential. It’s one of thebest perks in Modern Warfare 2, allowing you to equip two primary weapons. EquipDouble Timeas your second basic perk, as it doubles the duration of your tactical sprint. When you want to hide from enemies while on the warpath, activate yourDead Silencefield upgrade to temporarily make your footsteps silent.
Your bonus and ultimate perks will trigger during a match, meaning you’ll need to wait to feel the full effects. TheFast Handsbonus perk makes it swapping between weapons much faster. After a few more minutes, theGhostultimate perk will activate and allow you to hide from UAVs, Portable Radars, andHeartbeatSensors.
Modern Warfare 2’s fast pace makes every corner dangerous, so make sure to use aStim Shotas your tactical to quickly recover. For your lethal, aThermitegrenade is ideal for weakening groups of enemies before charging in to finish them off with your MP5.
